Charlie Wyke netted a hat-trick as Sunderland cruised past relegation-threatened AFC Wimbledon.

Wyke opened the scoring after seven minutes tapping home Aiden O'Brien's cross from the right of the box.

He grabbed his second and third as the game drew to a close, heading in at the near post in the 87th minute and lifting the ball over the keeper in stoppage time.

It cuts a run of three straight draws for Sunderland and puts them within three points of sixth-placed Charlton, with two games in hand.
