INDOOR ATTRACTIONS, LIVE EVENTS & FESTIVALS: Industry reacts to the lockdown roadmap

Whilst the travel sector may be reaping the rewards of the PMs latest announcement on the route out of lockdown - as holiday bookings soar - not every sector shares the instant optimism.

Outdoor attractions can open from 12th April in England but indoor visitor attractions fall into stage 3, and the date of 17th May. This means the likes of the National Sea Life Centre Birmingham and Legoland Discovery Centre will have to wait until later in the unlocking process than their outdoor counterparts. Amy Langham speaks to us.

Meanwhile, Defected are set to host their music festival in Croatia in August - but a government revue on international travel in April will happen first, in order to give the all clear on events abroad

The excitement surrounding that 12th June date for the relaxation of all social restrictions hasn’t gone unnoticed, with some of the UK’s biggest festivals and live events sharing the announcement that as it stands, this year - they’ll be able to do what they do best.

The chancellor will deliver the budget on the 3rd March, with many expecting an extension to the furlough scheme.
