Taking care of our mental health has been hard for many over this past year, with cases of agoraphobia, the fear of being away from a safe space, on the rise.
But there are amazing local people ready and waiting to get you feeling positive and confident about the year ahead.
We know that physical activity, and pastimes like meditation and yoga can really improve our mental wellbeing. Throughout March, the Shanti Bee in Newcastle will be delivering a free online programme designed to help ease the anxieties of this past year, getting you ready for the year ahead.
And they're not the only ones. Active Families North East are on a mission to inspire families to take up physical activity, highlighting the importance of exercising together. And they've come up with an innovative way to maximise the fun. Get ready to bounce yourself fit!
