Volunteers are being asked to come forward in the North East for the final stage of the Valneva vaccine and 92 new cases of coronavirus have been reported in the North East.
92 new cases of coronavirus were reported in the North East on Monday. County Durham reported the most with 27, and South Tyneside and Hartlepool reported the fewest with two each.
St Oswald's Hospice are on the hunt for new volunteers as their 25 shops have reopened with the easing of lockdown. The pandemic has had a disastrous impact on the income of most hospices, who are now hoping to get back into the swing of things with regular fundraising projects.
