JABS EFFECTIVE AGAINST STRAIN: As Pfizer gives patients up to 88% protection from Indian variant
The latest round of figures show over 60 million coronavirus vaccine doses have now been administered.
The latest data comes as a study by Public Health England showed that after two doses of the Pfizer BioNtech vaccine, the jab was 88% effective against the Indian variant, whilst the Oxford AstraZeneca jab was 60% effective.
Next and thousands of people are being made to wait years for a dental appointment according to a damning new report by a healthcare watchdog. Healthwatch England looked at the state of the industry, with people being told to wait until 2024 for appointments with some being removed altogether.
