MISS ENGLAND 2021: Meet Miss Middlesbrough & Miss Sunderland
Here we meet Miss Middlesbrough (Shereen Brogan) and Miss Sunderland (Amber Peters) who will both be heading to Miss England 2021 later this year to represent the North East in the national competition!
It's fourth time lucky for Miss England 2021 as the competition is now set to go ahead in June after being cancelled three times already due to the pandemic. Two of the fabulous contestants representing the North East are Shereen and Amber, who have both said they're hoping to tear down the misconceptions that the contest is just about looks.
45 finalists will head to the competition later this year should all go to plan with the easing of lockdown. Judges will be looking for someone who has engaged with their community, providing a positive influence in their home towns, as well as being environmentally conscious and passionate about health and wellbeing.
Shereen has been an active member of her community for years, starting her volunteering work at age 15. She was worked with care homes, homeless charities and is a champion of equality and diversity.
Amber’s self confidence hasn’t always been what it is now, and says her own insecurities over the years have turned her into a mental health advocate, and she hopes to use her platform to inspire others.
