Following teasers released by CBS, ITV has announced that on Monday 8th March at 9pm the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's interview with Oprah Winfrey will air on the channel, a day after it's broadcast in the US.
The interview is set to reveal reasonings behind Meghan and Harry's departure from the royal family.
Oprah, sometimes referred to as 'American royalty', runs her own channel called the Oprah Winfrey Network, or OWN. She also heads production company Harpo, which will be making the Harry and Meghan "primetime special".
CBS have revealed that the interview will last 2 hours.
In recent teasers by CBS, Harry, in reference to his mother, reveals that he feared "history repeating himself".
He continues with "I’m just really relieved and happy to be sitting here, talking to you, with my wife by my side, because I can’t begin to imagine what it must have been like for her, going through this process by herself, all those years ago.
“Because it has been unbelievably tough for the two of us, but at least we had each other.”
Oprah also asks the Duchess of Sussex if she was 'Silent or silenced", although Meghan's answer is not yet disclosed.
It is believed that the interview was not filmed at Harry and Meghan's home but in a location near Santa Barbara in California.
